The variety belongs to the butterhead lettuce (Laitue beurre) type and is intended for cultivation in the winter period. The plant forms a voluminous head and is distinguished by its large mass, as well as a high percentage of leaf base, which makes it suitable for industrial processing. The variety maintains commercial quality even when overmature.
The plant possesses high resistance (HR) to lettuce downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) races Bl:16-36EU, as well as to lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri) race Nr:0.
