The variety is a mini-romaine with smooth, tender red leaves that have a slightly sweet taste. The plant is intended for cultivation in open field conditions in regions with temperate climates.
The plant possesses complex resistance to a number of pathogens. Specifically, the variety shows resistance to downy mildew Bremia lactucae (races 29–41EU) and the aphid species Nasonovia ribisnigri (race 0).
