The variety belongs to the Lollo Rossa type and is distinguished by a characteristic "double red" leaf color. It possesses high resistance to leaf tip burn and bolting.
The plant is resistant to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, codes Bl:1–28 or Bl:16–37EU) and currant-lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri, code Nr:0). The variety is in demand in the ready-to-eat product segment, such as cut salads and salad mixes.
