The Shangore F1 hybrid forms compact, semi-open heads with upright, smooth, glossy leaves and a closed base. The variety is intended for greenhouse conditions and forced crops, and is capable of forming a high-quality yield even on poor soils.

The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl: 1–24, 16–24, 27–28, 30–32 EU), lettuce mosaic virus (LMV: 1), and aphid (Nr: 0).
