The variety forms plants of a bright, intense red color with a large structure. In terms of its characteristics, Sirmai RZ is a universal variety suitable for use throughout the entire year.
The plant possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races Bl:16–23, 25, 31, 32) and to lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribis-nigri, type Nr:0). The variety is known as one of the early representatives of the crop with pronounced resistance to this type of aphid.
