Variety description

The variety belongs to the Salanova series, characterized by a large number of small, uniform-sized leaves. The plant structure allows the rosette to separate into individual leaves with a single cut at the base of the core. The leaf shape is intermediate between the oak-leaf type and Batavia.
The plant is resistant to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races Bl:1–28) and lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri, biotype Nr:0). The variety also shows resistance to tipburn. The leaves have good keeping quality both as whole heads and after cutting.
