The variety belongs to the butterhead lettuce type. The plant forms attractive, voluminous heads with a good balance between the heart and outer leaves, and has a healthy and closed base.
The variety is intended for cultivation in the open field, primarily during the spring and autumn periods. Suitable both for sale in the fresh produce market and for industrial processing.
Possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races Bl: 29–41EU) and lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri, race Nr:0). Also has intermediate resistance (IR) to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1).
