The Vida variety is fast-growing and plastic, demonstrating high vigor and the ability to recover quickly after stress conditions. The plant forms a large rosette of fresh-green leaves.
The variety possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew races 29–32, 34, 36, 39, 40EU, lettuce aphid, and Tomato bushy stunt virus (TBSV). It also has intermediate resistance (IR) to Lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1) and Fusarium wilt (Fol:1).
