The variety is a dwarf shrub, the height of which is usually from 0.5 to 1.8 meters. The plant is characterized by abundant summer flowering with fuchsia-pink or fuchsia-purple flowers.
The foliage has ornamental features: young foliage is colored reddish, becomes dark green with a reddish tint as it grows, and darkens by autumn.
