The plant has a low-growing bushy habit. The height of the bush is about 40 cm with a width of up to 90 cm. Flowers have a soft yellow shade upon opening, which changes to white as the inflorescences age.

The variety is a thermophilic plant that prefers full sun. It possesses drought tolerance after establishment. In regions with a cold climate, it is grown as an annual; in USDA zones 9–11, it can be cultivated as a perennial. It is used in landscape design for creating borders, flower beds, and for container cultivation.
