The plant has a compact, densely branched form tending towards a rounded or pyramidal silhouette. At ten years of age, the height reaches about 2 meters with a width of 1.5 meters, and in its mature state — from 1.8 to 3 meters.
The leaves are evergreen, leathery, narrow-ovate in shape, and possess a distinct aroma. Young shoots may have a reddish hue, and new leaves are colored a lighter, golden-green color. Small yellowish-green flowers are gathered in umbellate inflorescences.
The variety is characterized as drought-tolerant and moderately tolerates short-term frosts. In climatic conditions with low temperatures, container cultivation is recommended. It is used as a specimen plant, for creating hedges and topiaries, and the leaves are suitable for preparing various dishes.
