The plant is a herbaceous perennial that forms a dense bush 45–60 cm tall. The foliage is dark green, lanceolate in shape with a serrated edge.

A characteristic feature is the semi-double flowers, which change color during opening from bright yellow to creamy and white, causing different shades to be present on the same bush simultaneously.

Flowering lasts from June to August–September. The crop prefers well-drained fertile soils, is sensitive to excessive winter moisture, and belongs to USDA hardiness zones 5–9.
