The plant forms a dense hemispherical clump 10–15 cm high and about 20 cm wide. The foliage is evergreen, gathered in a dense rosette. The flowers are star-shaped and have an intense red color.
The first wave of flowering is observed in late spring and early summer, the second — from September until the first frosts. When grown from seedlings, flowering begins 6 weeks after planting.
The variety is drought-tolerant after rooting, frost resistance is up to –15 °C. The plant is sensitive to excessive moisture, which causes root collar rot, so it requires well-drained soil.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
