The Anza variety belongs to the group of Oriental hybrids. Its breeding was conducted by the company World Breeding B.V., which specializes in creating new forms and colors of lilies with an emphasis on disease resistance.

The variety is intended for commercial cultivation for cut flowers. The characteristics of the number of buds on the plant correlate with the size of the bulb used for planting.
