Variety description

The variety belongs to the Oriental hybrid group. The flowers have a diameter of 15–30 cm, are colored a saturated dark burgundy with a purple hue and often a light star in the center. The petals are dense, with a wavy edge, and the anthers are a contrasting orange color. The plant possesses a pleasant aroma; the flowers are directed upward and to the sides.

Stem height varies from 80 to 160 cm. The leaves are lanceolate, dark green, 10–20 cm in length. The vegetation period is approximately 120–130 days; flowering occurs in July–August.

The variety is frost-resistant and withstands temperatures corresponding to USDA zones 4–5. The plant is demanding regarding soil drainage and is sensitive to waterlogging. The variety is intended for both landscape design and commercial cutting.
