The variety belongs to section I(a/-) of Asiatic hybrids. Derived from crossing seedlings W 88-4 and W 91-15.

Morphologically, the variety is characterized by a cup-shaped, upward-facing flower. The inner side of the tepals is yellowish-white in color, corresponding to code 155B on the RHS scale, with a slight light-yellow tint.
