The variety belongs to Oriental hybrids (Oriental, division VII(a/b)). The inner side of the perianth segments has a deep reddish hue (60A), transitioning at the edges to a saturated purple-red (60B).

The midribs of the flower are colored dark red (59A), the throat has a yellowish-white shade. The petal surface is accented with dark purple-red spotting (187B).
