The variety 'Combat' is an interspecific hybrid obtained as a result of crossing Longiflorum and Asiatic lilies. The plant belongs to Section VIII of the international lily classification.

The flowers have a diameter of 18–20 cm, and 5–7 buds usually form on a stem 90–100 cm tall. The development period from planting to flowering is about 12 weeks.
