Lily variety Maru belongs to the Oriental hybrid group. The plant is characterized by its dwarf habit, reaching a height of 40–45 cm, which allows it to be used as a pot plant.

The flowers are characterized by a bright red or purple-red petal color with a distinct pure white border and slightly wavy edges. The center of the flower has a yellowish-white throat, dark red spots near the nectaries and dark violet stigmas. The variety blooms in July.
