The Miss Lucy variety belongs to Oriental hybrids and is one of the first double-flowered representatives of the group. The flower has a coronate shape and consists of 18–24 petals arranged in several tiers. The complete absence of stamens and pollen prevents staining of the petals. The flower color is white-pink with a greenish stripe in the center and faint spots. The flower diameter reaches 20–25 cm.

The plant height is from 90 to 130 cm. The stem is sturdy and bright green. The inflorescence is racemose, usually including 5–8 flowers. The variety is mid-late or late, the growing season lasts about 108–110 days, and flowering occurs in July–August. The plant requires good drainage and protection in regions with harsh winters.
