The lily variety New Way belongs to the OR/OT-hybrid group, which are hybrids between Oriental and Trumpet lilies. At present, detailed characteristics, such as exact height, bulb parameters, or disease resistance, are not available in the public domain.

Online, the New Way variety is often confused with the New Wave variety, which is a low-growing Asiatic lily intended for pot cultivation with white flowers. Information regarding low growth found in online stores pertains to the New Wave variety and does not characterize New Way.
