Variety description

The variety belongs to the Oriental hybrids and produces double flowers of a rich purple-red shade. The petals lighten towards the base, where a yellow tint is present along the midrib above the nectaries. The nectaries are green with a yellow border, the pollen is brown-orange, the stigma is grey-green, and the petals feature a negligible amount of red-brown spots and papillae.

The plant height is from 100 to 120 cm. The stems are strong, with moderate foliage. Flowering in the central zone and northern regions usually occurs in July–August. The variety has a hardiness zone of 4 (down to -34.4°C) and is suitable for group plantings in the garden and for cut flowers.
