Variety description

The variety belongs to the Oriental hybrid group. The flowers have a cup-shaped form, their diameter is from 15 to 25 cm. The petals are colored in a saturated red-burgundy color with black spotting towards the center and a narrow white edge along the margin; their edges are slightly wavy, and the tips can be recurved.
The plant height is usually 100–120 cm, in individual cases reaching 60–80 cm. The foliage is green, typical for this hybrid group. The flowering period occurs in July–August.
The plant is suitable for cultivation in open field, flower beds, and containers, and is also used for cut flowers. The variety prefers fertile, well-drained soils and locations protected from the wind; frost resistance is estimated down to -27 °C.
