The Tropic Diamond variety belongs to the LA hybrid group. The flowers have a dark pink color with a whitish center or white throat. The shape of the flowers is described as tulip-like, and their diameter ranges from 15 to 20 cm.

The height of the plant stem usually varies from 90 to 120 cm. The variety is characterized by vigorous growth and is suitable for ornamental gardening, landscape design, and cut flower production.
