The flowers of the variety are large, funnel-shaped, white in color, sometimes with a creamy-yellow shade toward the center and greenish tips. The anthers are deep yellow, and the edges of the petals may be slightly recurved. The plant has sturdy, upright stems covered with narrow, dark green, lanceolate leaves.

Plant height ranges from 60–70 cm to 80–100 cm; shorter forms are found in container cultivation. Flowering occurs in early to mid-summer. The variety is characterized by vigorous growth, although it requires protection or indoor overwintering in cold climates. The plant is toxic to cats.
