The plant forms a basal rosette of leaves and erect wire-like flower stalks, providing good stability for the inflorescences. The foliage can be evergreen or semi-evergreen depending on climatic conditions.
The variety possesses heat resistance and salt tolerance, which allows it to be used in coastal zones. The flowers retain their decorative appeal when dried, making them suitable for floral compositions and dried flowers; in the garden, the variety is used in borders, rock gardens, and containers.
