The Hilsinwe variety (trade name Sweet Wings) was developed as part of a series of varieties produced via in vitro tissue culture. This method allows for the cultivation of genetically uniform plants free from fungal diseases, in contrast to traditional seed-propagated varieties.

The plants are suitable for cultivation in greenhouses and open field. The stems have a characteristic ribbed winged structure and reach a height of 70–80 cm. The variety is intended for industrial production, possesses intense inflorescence coloration, and is suitable for use in both fresh and dried bouquets.
