The Zastosella variety has low or medium plant height according to the UPOV scale. In commercial classification, the variety is included in the Limonium sinuatum Rosella Sun Birds series.
The plant is traditionally used in floriculture for cut flowers and decorative arrangements, including dried bouquets. The variety is officially registered as an object of plant breeder's rights and serves as a reference for DUS (distinctness, uniformity, and stability) testing.
