Variety description

The plant is an annual and reaches a height of 7–15 cm. The flowering period lasts from May to October. The variety forms creeping shoots and a dense cover, although flowering may pause during the onset of intense summer heat.

The variety is sensitive to waterlogging and excess fertilizer, and is susceptible to downy mildew. It is used for decorative borders, rock gardens, containers, and as a groundcover plant, as well as for attracting beneficial insects to vegetable plantings.
