The plant is a breeding form with creeping fleshy rhizomes. Stem height varies within the range of 10–40 cm. In the autumn-winter period, the orchid produces flower stalks, on which small white flowers bloom.
The species is considered relatively hardy and undemanding compared to other "jewel orchids". The main condition for successful cultivation is adherence to agricultural practices, in particular avoiding waterlogging of the soil and exposure to direct sunlight.
