The plant forms dark green palmate leaves. The inflorescences are large terminal racemes. Flowering of the variety occurs from late spring to summer.

The variety is intended for use in mixed borders and flower beds. For cultivation, well-drained loamy or sandy soils with an acidic or neutral reaction are preferred; placement is possible both in the sun and in partial shade.

The plant has vigorous growth and resistance to diseases, however, it can be affected by slugs and snails. Parts of the plant can be toxic if ingested.
