The plant has oval variegated leaves of golden-yellow color with a green center spot, sometimes with shades of lime, cream, and peach. The flowers are cup-shaped, golden-yellow with a reddish or brown center, gathered in compact umbellate inflorescences.
The variety spreads in width up to 30–60 cm. Flowering lasts from late spring to late summer. The plant is used as a groundcover in rockeries, on retaining walls, as well as in container and hanging basket cultivation. Recommended USDA hardiness zones are 7 to 11.
