The variety belongs to the compact Mandevilla group and has the synonym Rubis Red. The plant is distinguished by small leaves and flowers with a diameter of 4–5 cm. The crop is suitable for cultivation under high planting density conditions and does not need special supports, such as trellises or bamboo sticks, which distinguishes it from vining varieties.

The plant is part of the Diamantina series and possesses high heat tolerance, maintaining continuous flowering during extremely high temperatures provided that irrigation is ensured. The variety is valued for its compact form and short production cycle, which allows for placing more pots per unit area.
