The variety belongs to the Medicago × varia group or has characteristics of Medicago falcata. It possesses a prostrate growth habit and high resistance to lodging. In French conditions, plant height at the wheat heading stage is approximately 86 cm.
The variety is intended for pasture use due to its ability to withstand intensive sheep grazing. In scientific research, it is used as a model organism for studying symbiotic interactions with nitrogen-fixing bacteria Sinorhizobium meliloti.
