The variety is intended for biomass production used for the manufacturing of pellets, briquettes, and direct combustion. The quality of the raw material obtained depends on weather conditions and harvest times, in particular on the leaf fall process in the autumn-winter period.
In scientific publications, the variety is considered in the context of adaptation to complex hydrological conditions, where the use of traditional agricultural crops is difficult. In literature, it is associated with the species Miscanthus sinensis, although in registry documentation it may be classified within a broader group of Miscanthus.
