Low-growing plant with a height of 7.5–12.5 cm and a width of 30–60 cm. It has creeping shoots capable of rooting at the nodes and bright green evergreen foliage. Flowering continues from summer to autumn; the flowers are about 1 cm in diameter and consist of five petals.
The plant is intended for cultivation in containers, hanging baskets, as a border crop, or as a space filler. It is recommended for USDA hardiness zones 9a–11, prefers well-drained soils and regular watering, and does not tolerate soil freezing well.
