The variety forms a tangled network of reddish-brown shoots. The small leaves are characterized by a green margin with irregular creamy-white spots and sectors, although the variegation expression can be unstable.
The plant is used as a groundcover or climbing crop for decorating pergolas, trellises, and creating topiary forms. The species is characterized by tolerance to wind and saline soils, but in a number of regions it is considered invasive and prone to rapid spread.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
