Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 10–20 cm and possesses narrow gray-green basal leaves. The dense conical inflorescence consists of tubular flowers, which, upon opening, change from the brown-violet or purple hue of the buds to a yellow color.
The variety belongs to USDA hardiness zones 5–8, is deer resistant, and is not susceptible to serious diseases. The crop is used for landscaping rock gardens and borders, and is suitable for container growing and forcing.
