The variety belongs to group 12 of the daffodil classification. The plant is miniature; its height is from 13 to 15 cm, reaching up to 30 cm in some descriptions. The flowers have canary-yellow reflexed petals and a corona of a darker shade. The plant's leaves are thin and strap-shaped.

The variety is mid-early and is intended for ornamental gardening, including planting in borders, rock gardens, and under trees. Hardiness zones are 3–9. The plant is susceptible to infestation by the narcissus bulb fly, nematodes, slugs, snails, and bulb mites, as well as rarely the yellow stripe virus.
