The plant reaches a height of 0.1 to 0.5 m; similar figures are characteristic for the rosette diameter. The variety forms a compact shape, making it suitable for use as a houseplant, as well as for greenhouses and terrariums.
The plant is considered resistant to diseases, but can be affected by scale insects. Cultivation requires substrate for epiphytic or terrestrial bromeliads, bright diffused light, and moderate watering with soft water.
