The variety forms a neat mound 70 to 90 cm in height in the second year of growth. The plant's foliage has a characteristic mint aroma. It belongs to the category of first-year flowering plants; flowering continues throughout spring and summer.
The plant has drought tolerance and resistance to diseases, pests, and deer browsing. The variety is suitable for container cultivation, creating borders and landscape massifs, and attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. USDA winter hardiness zones 4a–9b (down to -32°C).
