The variety Blue-Blanc Re D (also known by the breeding number JR 95-3) is a decorative plant with double purple-pink flowers, with a white stripe decorating the central part of the petals. The plant's foliage has a characteristic blue-green hue.

The plant is intended for landscaping and gardening. The variety is heat-loving and withstands temperature drops down to -6°C. It prefers to grow in areas with full sun exposure and a soil acidity level of pH 6.5–7.5.
