The plant belongs to the species Nicotiana rustica. The average plant height is about 85 cm, reaching a maximum of 120 cm. The leaves are characterized as relatively small and elongated compared to other varieties of Nicotiana rustica.

Ripening of the upper leaves occurs at the end of August or in the first days of September. The variety is used in chemical analyses, in particular, for profiling sucrose esters, and is kept in genetic resource collections.
