The plant forms a compact dome-shaped bush with small aromatic glaucous-green foliage. The inflorescences consist of small purple-pink flowers hidden inside large decorative bracts. The flowering period occurs from July to September.
The variety is intended for decorative use in rock gardens, containers, hanging baskets, and borders. The plant is drought-tolerant, withstands frosts down to -12...-15°C, and requires well-drained soil and a sunny location. The leaves are edible but do not have high culinary value.
