The Bulgarian-bred variety IRGR Viki underwent an evaluation of economic characteristics at the Institute of Plant Genetic Resources in Sadovo. Studies conducted in 2010–2011 revealed that the variety possesses very strong resistance to lodging.

During comparative trials among 13 Bulgarian varieties, IRGR Viki demonstrated the highest yield, reaching 1130.75 kg/da. The variety is intended for commercial rice production for the domestic market.

Detailed morphological descriptions, including data on plant height or maturity group, are not presented in scientific publications. The main focus of the research was on productivity, as well as physical and technological grain qualities.
