Variety description
10 August 2026
Tree with a regular pyramidal crown, the branches of which are directed upwards at an angle of 30–45°. The height of the plant is 12–15 meters. The bark at a young age is smooth, gray-brown with lenticels, and over time becomes rougher and ridged.
Leaves are ovate or oval, doubly serrated, 5–10 cm long, turning light yellow in autumn. Flowering occurs in April with male catkins. The fruits are nutlets in involucre bracts, gathered in infructescences similar to hop cones.
The variety has high vitality, is resistant to wind and low temperatures (zone 5b). It grows well on various types of fertile soils, including calcareous and dry ones, and is resistant to urban conditions and paving.
