The name Double Trouble refers to a double-flowered form of Oxalis pes-caprae, also known as pes-caprae Plena. The main visual distinction of the variety is its yellow double flowers, which upon opening may exhibit a salmon-pink tint that gradually fades to a bright yellow tone.
The plant is intended exclusively for decorative cultivation in containers or gardens in regions with a favorable climate. This form is considered less cold-hardy compared to other Oxalis species, withstanding temperature drops down to -10 °C.
