The plant forms a compact rosette of ternate, clover-like leaves. The flowers have an orange-red or apricot-orange shade with a gradient and a bright yellow center.

The plant is planted by bulbs in the autumn; the flowering period occurs in winter and early spring. It is characterized by drought tolerance after rooting, is thermophilic, and in regions with cold winters, it is grown as a houseplant or a seasonal potted plant.
