The variety belongs to food-type poppies and is valued for its content of calcium, iron, phosphorus, and unsaturated fatty acids. The main visual characteristic is the white color of the seeds. In scientific research, the variety is often used as a reference sample of white-seeded poppy.

The genetic potential for seed yield reaches 2.0 t/ha, with actual figures varying from 0.28 to 0.73 t/ha. The morphine content in dry capsules ranges from 0.3% to 0.6%. In experiments on contaminated soils, the variety showed a tendency to accumulate cadmium in the seeds.
