The Passizell 52 variety was developed for use in the pharmaceutical industry in the production of phytopreparations. The breeding work was aimed at optimizing the content of biologically active substances in the plant.

Detailed agronomic characteristics of the variety, such as height, maturity period, or disease resistance, are not available in open sources. The variety was obtained as a result of targeted selection of elite specimens from natural populations of the species Passiflora incarnata.
